# Arc Folders You use Arc folders to organize your tabs with links to websites and pages. This allows you to group related content into collections within your browser. You can click on any folder in your sidebar to expand or hide its contents. ## Sidebar The [sidebar](https://blog.warrenweb.net/arc-sidebar) has three sections for tabs: favorites, pinned, and today. When you click on links in other apps such as Airmail, Obsidian, or Drafts, they will be opened as Today tabs in your default browser; if you have selected Arc as your default browser, then new tabs are created at the bottom of the Today section of your sidebar. You can drag/drop any folder to reorganize your sidebar; also, you can move a folder as a nested subfolder by simply dropping it on an existing folder. ## Context Menu When you use `Ctl-tap` (trackpad), or _right-click_ (mouse) on a folder, you have options to rename, group, copy, share, create nested folders, or delete. You can cluster multiple tabs together by selecting the first and last tab of a group, choose to create a _New folder_ for the selected items, and assign the folder a name in your Pinned Tabs section. If you press `Opt` with `Ctl-tap`, you can choose _Copy All as Markdown Links_ and then paste that list of links from your clipboard into Drafts or Obsidian under an appropriate heading. For example, this is a great way to include links in an Obsidian topic map. You can move any folder to another Arc space by choosing the _Move to ..._ option, and select an appropriate destination space. Also, you can share any Arc folder with anyone (on any browser) by choosing _Share Folder..._, selecting _Copy Link to Folder_, and sending that to them. Arc Max provides several additional AI features for your folders. For example, you can turn on the settings for Today Tabs or Instant Links by entering `Cmd-T` > Settings > Max. ## Tidy Tabs Arc Max has an AI feature called [_Tidy Tabs_](https://blog.warrenweb.net/arc-tidy-tabs) that helps you organize your Today tabs. Whenever you have over six Today tabs, you can press the Tidy broom icon at the top of your Today Tabs in the sidebar. Arc will only organize Today Tabs, which appear below the `+ New Tab` button. Then you might drag selected folders into Pinned Tabs. ## Instant Links With the Arc Max AI feature called [Instant Links](https://blog.warrenweb.net/arc-instant-links), you can simply press `Shift-Enter` after entering a web search into `Cmd-T` and Arc instantly opens the top result. If you want to create a folder of tabs, use "_Folder of"_ before your search query, like "Folder of the cutest cat breeds", and Arc will also automatically create a tab folder in your sidebar with the name _Cutest Cat Breeds_ that will contain 5 tabs.
